Your guide and driver will receive you at the Paro airport and drive to Thimphu. A short stop to view Tamchog monastery built in 15th century by Thang Tong Gyalpo.

In the afternoon, visit to memorial chorten, tallest statue of Buddha, Changangkha lhakhang, Takin preserve center and Dupthop nunnery.

In the evening, free to stroll in the town for shopping and photography.

In the morning, visit to national postal museum, craft bazaar, textile museum, school of 13 arts and crafts (Painting school).

Lunch at Simply Bhutan museum.

Afternoon – witness the archery match at Changlimithang stadium.

In The Morning, Drive To Punakha.

Punakha was an ancient capital of Bhutan until the rule of the second king of Bhutan.

– On the way, visit to Dochu La pass (3140 m).

– Then visit Chimi lhakhang built in the honor of Drukpa Kuenley, the divine madman. This temple is also popularly called “The temple of fertility”.

Afternoon – Visit Punakha dzong (The famous annual Punakha festival is held here) built in 1637 by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal. King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck convened the first national assembly here in 1952.

Then hike to the beautiful Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Choling monastery.

In the evening, walk the longest suspension bridge in Bhutan (160 meters).

In the morning, drive to Gangtey. A short stop on the way to view Wangdue Phodrang dzong built in 1638 by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal.

While in Gangtey, visit Gangtey Gompa monastery (Venue for annual Gangtey festival) built in 1613 by Gyaltse Pema Thinley. Then visit black necked crane information center.

In the evening, explore the beautiful Phobjikha valley (3000 m). This valley is also the roosting ground of the rare black-necked cranes in winter.

In the morning, drive to Bumthang, the spiritual heartland of Bhutan and the birth place of Pema Lingpa.

On the way, visit Trongsa dzong was built in the year 1648. Then visit Ta dzong was built in 1652 by Chogyal Minjur Tempa which is converted to museum now.

In The Morning, Visit Jakar Dzong And Jambay Lhakhang Built By King Srongtsen Gampo In The Year 659 AD.

Then visit Chakhar lhakhang and Kenchosum monastery built in the 6th century.

Afternoon – visit Tamshing lhakhang, Kurjey lhakhang and Kencho sum lhakhang.

In the evening, free to stroll in the town.

In the morning, drive to the beautiful Tang valley. On the way, visit to Mebar tsho or “The burning lake”.

While in Tang valley, visit to Ogen Choling palace museum. A palace turned into a museum to preserve its legacy and provide a place for religious studies, research and solitude. The fascinating and well-captioned exhibits offer real insights into the lifestyle of a Bhutanese nobility.

In the morning, drive to the airport and fly to Paro. Your guide will receive you at the airport and drive to the hotel.

Afternoon – visit Ta dzong (national museum of Bhutan).

Then visit Rinpung dzong built in 1646 by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal. It is the finest illustration of Bhutanese architecture and craftsmanship you’ll see. So impressive it is that even scenes of 1995 film, Little Buddha were filmed here.

In the evening, free to stroll in the town for shopping and photography.

In The Morning, Drive To Haa Valley.

We stop at Cheli la pass at 3988 m and explore. It has the highest motorable road in Bhutan and it separates Paro from Haa valley. You can see the beautiful view of Himalayas including Mt. Jomolhari. Little above the pass is the sky burial site.

While in Haa valley, visit the dzong. It is a fairly new dzong and serves as the administrative center of Haa valley.

Afternoon – visit Chorten Nagpo (Black temple) & Chorten Karpo (White temple). These temples were built by the Tibetan King Srongtsen Gampo in 659 on the same day as Kichu monastery.

Then visit to Kila Gompa nunnery.

AIn the morning, drive to Satsam chorten and 2 hour hike till the Tiger’s nest monastery (Paro Taktsang). It is the highlight of 11 days Bhutan tour itinerary.

In the afternoon, visit Drugyel dzong built in 1646 by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal.

Then visit Kichu lhakhang built it in 659 AD by King Srongtsen Gampo of Tibet. It is one of the 108 temples built by him in a single day across the Himalayan region. In the inner courtyard, you’ll see a mural of King Gesar of Ling. He was a popular Tibetan warrior-king, whose epic poem is said to be the longest in the world.
