Overview
The festival features sacred mask dances, traditional performances, and vibrant cultural celebrations. The opening day’s ceremonies take place within the courtyard of Rinpung Dzong, while the remaining festivities are held in the open courtyard outside the dzong.
A highlight of the festival is the unfurling of the sacred Thongdrel (giant religious scroll), one of Bhutan’s most revered spiritual displays, offering blessings to all who view it.
